Creating award entries
Background
We were asked to write two award entries for the Glass Company Ltd for Entrepreneur of the Year and Start-up of the Year at the MSDUK Awards in 2021. These awards honour the efforts of both large corporations and ethnic minority-owned businesses in making supply chains more inclusive and competitive.
What we did
The Glass Company is a trusted independent company for glass and provide a number of services, including consultancy to designers and architects, quality control during the manufacturing process and glass procurement. We interviewed the Founder and Managing Director of the Glass Company Ltd and then created the award entries for review. We paid particular attention to getting across the story and growth of the business across within the strict word limits.
Results
Despite having a week to turn these award entries around, we were able to deliver them two days ahead of the deadline. In addition, the company was also shortlisted for Start-up of the year.
